Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
When you sign up: your name, email, and a workspace name. When you use the Service, we collect the decks you upload, the contacts you add, and usage data — which version was viewed, from what IP, for how long per slide.
We do notcollect payment information during beta. When billing starts, we'll use Stripe and their privacy policy governs that data.
2. How we use it
- To run the Service (show your decks, track views, draft emails)
- To email you about account + deck activity (you can opt out)
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage (never individual decks)
We don't sell data to anyone. We don't run ads. We don't train AI models on your content.
3. Who we share with
Only the infrastructure providers we need to run the Service:
- Supabase — database + file storage
- Vercel — hosting the app
- Anthropic— Claude processes your change notes and dwell data to generate drafts. Anthropic's API retention policy applies.
- Resend — sending emails (when configured)
- ConvertAPI — PPTX→PDF conversion
4. Your rights
You can:
- Export your data — email us and we'll send you a dump
- Delete your account — we remove everything within 30 days
- Opt out of non-essential emails — settings page
5. Security
Decks are stored in private Supabase storage with signed URLs (valid for 1 hour). Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. We use Row-Level Security so your data is fully isolated — one founder can never see another founder's decks or contacts.
If you spot a security issue, email security@tracepitch.com. We'll respond within 48 hours.
6. Analytics we track
Aggregate usage for product decisions (how many founders create a deck, how many upload a second version). We do not track individual user behavior for resale. We may add privacy-preserving analytics like Plausible — if we do, we'll update this page.
7. Changes
We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes. If the change is material, we'll email you.
8. Contact
Email hello@tracepitch.com with any question about data or privacy.
