Terms of Service
1. What TracePitch is
TracePitch ("Service") helps founders track who has viewed which version of their pitch deck and draft personalized follow-up emails. By signing up for an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account, including the decks you upload and the contacts you add. Use a secure password. Don't share your credentials. If you discover a security issue, email us at hello@tracepitch.com and we'll respond within 48 hours.
3. Content you upload
You keep ownership of your deck files, contact lists, and every other piece of content you put into TracePitch. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store the content, render it to viewers you've authorized, and process it with AI models (such as Anthropic's Claude) to generate the features that make the Service useful — including "What Changed" summaries and email drafts.
We don't train on your content. We don't share your decks with third parties outside the infrastructure providers we depend on to run the Service (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Resend, ConvertAPI).
4. Acceptable use
Don't use TracePitch to:
- Share content you don't have the right to share.
- Spam investors — you must have a real relationship with every contact you add.
- Reverse-engineer the Service or bypass rate limits.
- Upload anything illegal or abusive.
We can suspend accounts that violate these rules. We'll tell you why.
5. Fees and cancellation
During beta, the Service is free. When we leave beta, the Founder tier is $19.99/month. We'll give you 30 days' notice before any paid plan starts billing you. You can cancel anytime from the settings page; your data stays accessible for 30 days after cancellation in case you come back.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is." We're a small team doing our best. AI-generated drafts can be wrong — you're responsible for reading and editing every email before you send it. We're not liable for an investor reaction to content you sent (or didn't send) based on our tools.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to TracePitch is capped at the total fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If the Service was free during that period, our liability is capped at $100.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page and email you if the change is material. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.
